LEONARD WASHINGTON BIO
Leonard Washington is a hard blues-based Rock N Roll outfit based out of the Greater Atlanta Area. Formed in 2012, frontman Blake Bryant joined with bassist David Van Drew, drummer Kirk Holt and guitarist Bill Hardman and developed a musical sound & chemistry that is unmistakeable by blending in hints of jazz and funk into their Muscle Shoals mix. Leonard Washington's signature sound is driven by a tight rhythm section, blistering slide guitar and raspy vocals. They perform both original music and covers by their influences the ranging from Allman Brothers Band & Gov't Mule to Freddie and Albert King.
